AMPLIFIED 2015 | Luke 8:13 "Those on the rocky soil are the people who, when they hear, receive and welcome the word with joy; but these have no firmly grounded root. They believe for a while, and in time of trial and temptation they fall away [from Me and abandon their faith]. |

Bible Note: Kalos wrote: "This is also why the Bible repeatedly stresses that salvation is wholly God's work" Rosponse: Is it really? Your statement does'nt convince me of being biblical, nor rational. If your statement would be true, should'nt everyone have been saved by now because it is both the will of God to save everyone and he is able to do all that he wants? Joh 1:12: "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—" Those that received and trusted in Jesus were (freely) given the right to be sons of God. Those who rejected him wasn't given same the right. May the power of the grace and peace of Jesus be with you all and keep you spotless until he returns. |
