Personal profile for user screen name: CDBJ Thanks for reading my personal info.I personally trusted in Jesus Christ to be the very Son Of God and my Saviour in Oct. 1965, while at home, reading my wife’s Douay Version of the Bible. I thought at the time that I was the only one in the World that knew the message of salvation. I had never heard the “emphasis” of the salvation message, i.e. complete “undivided trust” in the “finished work of Jesus Christ”; even though in my younger years I had attended many “very popular” denominational churches. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. I felt I had a lot of work to do, trying to communicate the message about Jesus, all by myself, to the rest of the misinformed, misguided world. Praise the Lord, I found out that there are more of us who love Jesus for who He is and what He did. I have been teaching home Bible discussions, and in the past few years the Lord has helped me write Biblical poetry, as a way to reach people with the message of the gospel. I love studying God's Word and I enjoy the Koine Greek of the New Testament. I am very troubled by people who “claim to be” believers in Christ yet they don't have a deep seated hunger for God's precious Word the Bible! 2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
