Bible Note: Dear Andrew, Since when does the truth of God depend upon the agreement of men? The Word of God stands on it's own. Men are imperfect creatures, so, whatever you do, don't look to us for the confirmation of your faith! In the end, each and every person will be singled out as being a sheep or a goat. If you follow the wisdom of the world you are on the path that leads to eternal damnation. It is a very broad path with many turns and there is room for all kinds of gods. The path that leads to heaven is straight and it does not permit the traveller to create God in his image. Remember this my friend, when you stand before for God Himself, no excuses for not believing will be acceptable to Him. I suggest you flee from your unbelieving companions at wehategod.com (or whatever they call it) repent of your egoism and pride and plead for forgiveness. We all experience doubt Andrew. What matters is how we deal with doubt. Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 1Cr 3:18,19 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. If you think your unbelieving "friends" desrve an explanation, tell them that you have decided to be a fool for Christ. I pray that the Lord will be mercifull to you and open your eyes to see and your ears to hear. John |
