Bible Note: New Creature, I had not really researched the word washed before but it is interesting.. 3068 It is louo and means..to bathe, wash as a dead person, or washing of wounds. The Greek Word used in 1 Corinthians 6:11 is apolou which is a combination of #575 and #3068 Seperated and washed as a dead person or cleansing of wounds. 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. What do you think about this? Good question, by the way. What other key words do you see? God bless |
