Bible Question: So you're saying we're not predestined to salvation, but predestined to the offer of salvation which we can decline or more probably for some people just not believe the offer? (If you decide to disregard what I am telling you) |
Bible Answer: The calling of God is determined through the input of the Holy Spirit. To try and reach the stage that brings salvation by any other way, or means, will not result in the fruits of the Spirit being evident in ones life. Unless a new direction is being realised within your inner, and outer man, then there is something not right with the walk you are having with Jesus Christ. Many believe, through man's teaching, that the path they are treading is the one Jesus walked, but man is more times than not wrong, and it should be your own Spirit walk which determines the truth. So though many are called, few are chosen, (Matthew 22:14) because the truth is not in them. If God is not walking the walk, and talking the talk, through the indwelling Spirit, then we are walking and talking aimlessly. |
