Personal profile for user screen name: wist ye not

I am a Christian, a member of ECUSA. One of the best books I've ever read outside of the Bible is Huston Smith's The Religions of Man. What I believe can be summed up in The Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Some of you may know the Apostles'Creed better through the recent Contemporary Christian songs by Rich Mullens, Creed, and by Wayne Drain, I Believe(The Apostles'Creed).
The translation of the Bible I use most often is the New American Bible, also the RSV or NRSV. The NIV would be great if it was complete as the 1611 King James was complete.
If anyone wonders I am an Episcopalian, baptized in 1995, finally in the church God wanted me in. Yours in Christ Jesus, Wist Ye Not
