Bible Note: Actually, you don't understand the Calvinism/Arminian thing. I Cor. 2:14 says, "..the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him, neither CAN he know them for they are spiritually discerned." And again, Jhn. 6:44 says, "no man can come to me, except the Father which has sent me draw him..." You don't understand the fall. Man is not sick, he is dead (Eph. 2:1). If your view is correct, there is still some good in man. However, the Bible says, "there is none that doeth good" (Psa. 14:1, Psa. 14:3, Psa. 53:1, Psa. 53:3, Rom. 3:12). There is nothing within man that wants God unless God convicts him of his sin and shows him he needs a Savior. I pray you will consider this and not just defend preconceived ideas. |
