Bible Question (short): Baptized WITH the name...? |
Question (full): Dear JMSCOTT, Greetings in the name of Jesus! Friend, I am a bit confused about your post. I have read the proferred Scriptures, and don't understand your point. You wrote: 'If you read the whole chapter of Acts 11....peter had a vision(trance)...he baptized with water at first....then he remememberd(holy spirit)and baptized with the name of the fatherand son and holy spirit....which all have names!' (end quote) Baptized WITH the name...? I thought that we are baptized IN the name. Then you said that 1 Corinthians releases us from the Law (of water), but then go back in time to a 'new one' in Matthew 28. Would you please explain what you mean? In Christ Jesus, charis |
