Bible Note: Dear Harmonizer, Welcome to the Forum. I read your statement and was a bit perplexed, if not confused. I do agree that we must attempt to harmonize scripture.Possibly your could clarify or provide a better scriptural basis for your contentions? You say "Simply what is the NAME of the father? what is the NAME of the son? what is the NAME of the Holy Ghost?" I believe it is evident that the Bible tells us that God (Jehovah) is the Father, and that Jesus is the Son. To my knowledge, scripture does not give the Holy Spirit a specific name, does it? Further, you state that "Jesus is the name of the father - the name of the son and the name of the Holy Ghost" This would appear to be "Oneness" doctrine that you advocate. In all honesty this doesn't make sense. If you have any compelling scriptural basis to substantiate your assertion, I'd certainly welcome it:-) Speaking The Truth In Love, BradK |
