Bible Note: Good Morning Johnny: I believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who knew no sin and who did no sin. Thus, it is impossible for him to lie, he is the absolute truth. While on this earth his glory was veiled and he walked in perfect submission and obedience to his father. In his humility he acknowledged divine order. It was in this earthly walk which he the perfect man demonstrated total dependence upon his father in heaven. Paul refers to this order in 1 Cor.11:3 "the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God" This divine order does not denote inferiority between Christ and God or between man and woman. Johnney, the persons of the Godhead are in harmoney and are in essence God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As I said in my last post, the finite cannot fathom the infinite. We "now see through a glass darkly, but then face to face" (1 Cor. 13:12) The verses which you have quoted from John 10 give me great joy knowing that I am safe in my Saviour's hand and in my heavenly Father's hand. Peace in our Saviour's name Rober |
