AMPLIFIED 2015 | Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, "Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. |
Subject: Jesus' name baptism? |
Bible Note: Would you deny that Jesus was God in the flesh? As is made known in John 1:1-14. Or as I Qouted previosly Acts 4:12 Neither is ther salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.I guess I should back up and include verses 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Isreal, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazereth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. In my statement I am simply stating what the Bible makes obvious. That Jesus is one and the same as God the father and or the Holy Ghost. |
