Apparently the apostles baptized in the name of Jesus. Was this a revelation from the Holy Spirit after Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? | ||||||

Doe it matter that much? I know there are denominational splits on this issue...but if there's one triune God, then you should be just as baptized if you use any or all of the names. This is NOT a magic spell! Besides, there's still room to think that you can get to heaven without baptism at all, tho' that's a ceremonial part of the process for most....the thief on the cross---who baptized him? Roscoe |

baptism is an outward show of our inward belief. the water does not save anyone. it is the intent of the heart. baptized in Jesus Name or Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Dosen't the scripture tell us that in him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Be it in Jesus Name or the Godhead(Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) according to the scripture it is the same. '' |
