1 | Trinity (again)? | Acts 2:38 | jlpangilinan | 29823 | ||
Love Fountain, I do believe that God loves me that is why I keep His commandments and I believed on it. When Jesus Said that His Father is Greater than He is, I know it is true, and I am going to believed it, not you not concusions but Him. He himself stated it even accepted it. It is the people cannot accept what Jesus has accepted. He stated that His Father is greater than He is, He stated it not as a conclusion but a direct acceptance that His Father is greater than He is, but the people come out with thier own conclusion that they are equal. There is no problem, Jesus accepted it that His Father is Greater than He is, I believed on it it His word not yours not mine. If you are not believeing in the word of Jesus Christ, whose word you are going to believe in? God bless, Johnny |

Analogia Scriptura One of the basic principles of biblical interpretation is the *analogia scriptura*, the analogy of Scripture. In other words, we must compare Scripture with Scripture in order to understand its full and proper sense. And SINCE THE BIBLE DOESN'T CONTRADICT ITSELF, ANY INTERPRETATION OF A SPECIFIC PASSAGE THAT CONTRADICTS THE GENERAL TEACHING OF THE BIBLE IS TO BE REJECTED. Johnny: First let me say I truly appreciate and respect you. So please do not take this Note as personal criticism. What follows is in no way intended to be hurtful. "Jesus Said that His Father is Greater than He is." This is what you have repeated over and over and over again. Johnny, I merely wish to point out that we cannot take one verse of Scripture and build a hard and fast doctrine on it, while ignoring the general teaching of (every other verse related to that subject in) the Bible. Please carefully consider the principle of analogia scriptura, as defined above. Grace to you, kalos |

Dear Kalos, Thanks for the note kalos, I know that bible will not contradict itself that is why I am asking anyone that can show me clearly as clear when Jesus said that "Father is Greater than I am" if somebody can show me that Jesus reveal that "Me and the Father are Equal" I am waiting for that. Again I hope I am not offended you. I am sorry if sometimes my wording is not so good. "like when I asked "Did Jesus Lie" I used those word sometimes to point my very strong kind of asking to get my point or to weight my point. I am sorry for that. I am a human my friend hope you can understand that sometimes. Thanks for getting my attention. I do respect anyone here in the forum, I sometimes offended you, I am sorry for that. It is part of my learning also I learned in my mistakes. God bless, Johnny |
