Sir, I have no wish to dissect or cast doubt upon that which is the Word of God. Nothing happened to 2 Tim. 3:16. It is as true as it has ever been and as it will forever be. The problem is with the word "scripture." Certainly all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable. It is just that 1 John 5:7 is not generally accepted as authentic Scripture. There is an abundance of evidence showing that 1 John 5:7 "has no manuscript authority and has been inserted." |
