1 | Jesus' name baptism? | Acts 2:38 | charis | 29499
Dear RevRobert, Greetings in Jesus' name! I agree with the statements you made so far. I baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38) and the circumcision of heart (Colossians 2:11,12). But I am also a firm believer in the triune nature of God. Though I do not like the 'Trinitarian' moniker much, I am completely against the 'Oneness' or 'Jesus-only' bent. As has been noted, much has been said about this issue, so reading through this thread and a few others might be helpful. Blessings to you in Christ Jesus, charis |

I agree whole heartedly. In Genisis 1:26 And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness:. And so They did we are a spirit, we have a soul(mind, will, emotions), and we live in a body. Yet we are not three seperate beings. The same way God is the Holy Spirit, He has a will, and he came in flesh in the person of Jesus. God bless all.
