Subject: How can anyone be saved? |
Bible Note: John What you have provided is “election proof texts” that intrinsically stand in opposition to the nature of God, in contradiction to scripture and ignore the most basic of all scripture passages. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. If you want to proof text we can to that all day, but that will prove nothing for I can proof text right back at you. As I stated earlier at last count I think there is a one for one tie of texts the suggest election versus those that suggest we are given a choice. We can go all day saying your not reading it right, and this argument has been perpetuated for over 400 years. Justify election to these most basic truths of the Bible. John 1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. EdB |
