AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |

Bible Note: Greetings Ray, I confess I am not as diligent as you have been concerning capitalization, but I intentionally wrote it as "spirit." While I believe that apart from the activity of the Holy Spirit, we are powerless to worship God I also recognize the presence of the natural man and for this reason I did not capitalize spirit. For we(in our spirit) do worship God as we are enabled by the presence of the indwelling Spirit of Jesus Christ. Therefore we worship in spirit and and Truth. I fully recognize that it is the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ who testifies with my spirit, giving me access to God and assurance of my adoption." (Hebrews 10:15. Romans 8:16) By the way, God brought you specifically to mind today and I prayed for you. (Even before I got this reply!) May The Lord bless you as you continue to seek His face. Mommapbs |
