NASB | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |
Subject: How can anyone be saved? |
Bible Note: Lionstrong Question #3 restated, If your not selected for salvation do you remain in sin? to which I think you will probably answer yes So my comment to John is the same to you However using your thoughts I can not figure out what the Great White Throne of Judgement is for. Man has to sin. Man cannot do anything about that sin unless God so moves, then when God does so move man has to accept Jesus and be forgiven of that sin. What it is the judgement? To you some men were made for destruction and others for salvation what is to judge? If I understand you right it was a done deed before creation |
