AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |
Subject: How can anyone be saved? |
Bible Note: Hi Ray, You say, "the GOAL in our instruction and witnessing should be that the person would FEEL [my caps] the love of God." And you believe that God wants believers to FEEL loved. Yet you provide no scriptural support for these sentiments. You quote an excellent verse where Paul says the goal of our instruction is love, then you ignore it and say that the goal is to FEEL love. Paul's is practical; yours is emotional. I'll take Paul's. Peace, From the hip |
