AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |
Bible Question: How can anyone be saved? |
Bible Answer: John Very carefully. :-) Now the complete answer; John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus said in Mark 10:15 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all." That’s how I approach salvation with a child like attitude. There is nothing on this earth more wonderful, magnificent, wondrous, awesome, mysterious, splendid, miraculous, or just breathtaking as salvation. To see grace at work in a persons life and is mind boggling. To try to explain it is like trying to explain the Trinity. The fact is the words just haven’t been invented yet, and even if they were I wouldn’t be able to understand them. John your very satisfied you have an understanding of salvation, of election and such, but I really believe your no closer to the truth than the day you started to ask the question. I know I’m not! Accept it allow it freedom in your life and enjoy what you have. Then tell others how it feels to know tomorrow. Tell others how it feels to be a son of God. Tell others of your Savior and Friend Jesus. EdB |
