AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |
Subject: How can anyone be saved? |
Bible Note: Hi John, I simply gave a biblical answer to your question, how can anyone be saved. Your question was NOT how can anyone believe. Faith is the gift of God on the basis of his sovereign grace. (Eph 2, Rom 9) The dead stony hearts we inherit by birth cannot believe God. Only God alone can give us a heart of flesh willing and able to believe him. (Ezek 36:26) Peace, |
