Dear Ed, "Are you saying as an elect the person CAN choose NOT to accept Christ? I am not saying that. I am saying that the boy will follow the desire of his heart. I fit the heart of stone he was born with, then he will continue to rebel and will stay at home. On the other hand, if God has chosen him for his own, he will recieve a new heart of flesh that will desire to obey. John |

John That is contrary to what Paul said. Paul stated he wanted to do good but his sin nature caused him to do things he didn't want to. EdB |

Hi Ed, Paul was speaking of living the christian life, not salvation itself. In fact Paul's conversion is an excellent example of the power of God to save those He had chosen. Thanks, John |
