Bible Note: Greetings Gracefull! Thanks for the response! :-) I would have to agree with Joe on this point. There isn't anything in Hebrews to indicate that there is a physical altar upon which Christ had to 'go' and offer His blood upon. What Hebrews deals with is that the Old Testament temple practices where 'types' of spiritual realities. They could not do what Christ would do by offering Himself. Yet, everything in Hebrews indicates that this sacrifice took place upon the cross, not at some subsequent time. Yes, Jesus must ascend, because He said so.
