I am a senior citizen of Canada. Jesus Christ is my Lord and He bears all my burdons.

Jean is my faithful wife of forty plus years. We have two adult children and two grandchildren.

I study mainly from the King James Authorised Version but do refer to other translations occasionally.
I believe in four foundational truths, namely,

1.The Cross is God’s complete and full remedy for sin.
Romans 5:1-2
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through Him we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice on
the hope of the glory of God.

2.I am complete in CHRIST.
Colossians 2:10-12
And you are complete in Him, who is the Head of all principality and power, in whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in whom also you were raised through the faith of the working of God, raising Him from the dead.

ALL the gifts have passed away . I am blessed with all.
Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;

3. God’s GRACE is sufficient for me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.

4.I have learned that....
Philippians 4:11-13
Not that I speak according to need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

God’s Word is given complete and sufficient for me.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.
