I was introduced to the church by my then fiance'in the summer of 1980. I was a drug user at the time and was high one evening when she was visiting. We had an argument about the existence of God. She came across a book, written by a Christian Psychologist, on Psychology. What was interesting about this book was that each subject this man wrote about ended in giving the glory to God. He went through both the physical and mental attributes of the human body and at the end of each chapter would ask, "How could this have come about by mere chance?" After reading this book I was fired up on becoming a Christian and was baptized into the church by that November.

The bible speaks of only one church. That being the church purchased by Christ's blood. This is the church I am proud to belong to. It has no other doctrine but that which is set forth in the New Testament. False doctrine is prevalent during this time, but no other church is mentioned than that which belongs to Christ. I live by Isaiah 1:18, 2 Timoth 2:15, and Acts 17:11 when it comes to studying the bible.
