Bible Note: Glen: The problem is we are talking about two Hank's. Hank on the forum is the Hank I refered to having elequent writing skills. I would call his command of the English language and it's composition in writen form the best I have ever seen. There are others on the forum that have such qualities as well like Emmaus, Reformerjoe, Makarios, and these are just a few. I some times feel like a first grader that is even behind a grade. So please excuse me, when I make mistakes as I am still tring, ok? As for your questioning about Mark 9:33-41. I am not aware if Hank Hanergraaff directly deals with that scripture in the book CHRISTIANITY IN CRISIS. However the book is mainly about the false theachers and their seriously errored doctrines, that have lead ignorant, and baby Christians away, and who some of these false teachers are. That is why I refered you to CRI directly, so they can give you factual information and send you printed material. I am sure CRI has addressed this at sometime. The person who was head of CRI before his death was Walter Martin. So CRI is impeckable as far as I have seen so far, and I have been using this resourse for about ten years now. The very least you can wind up is a different opinion of a subject you are studing on. I am not a follower of CRI, I have my own thought with scriptual back up, and if CRI ever did not follow that, than of course you know what I would choose. I have had one person e-mail me and say they had no idea how filled with serious errors the Word of Faith movement was untill they read , and confirmed the facts for them self, and thanked me for directing them to find out for them self. Now as for the Hank on the forum answering his own posts, that is up to him, and you need to direct your concerns anout that to him. I would think with all that this forum is and the number of posts, it would be a real challenge to keep up with it, even in a small way. Sometimes I send a note just to let Hank know I am praying for his health, or praise his wisdom. I think it is very important to encourage him and respect his position, as I call him a man of honor, or Elder in the Lord. Would you not agree? I have found that anything we put down for someone else to read, is subject to be understood by the mood of the person or emotional stress they maybe under, as they read a note. Sometimes this happens when we write as well. Our human natures are strange indeed and I am no exception. I hope this helps and you will find a good resourse for future times. Peace and Mercy justme |
