Subject: "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED"!!! |
Bible Note: But the son previously had life, the was dead, and was alive again. So it wasn't just someone lost then found. And it doens't make sense that it was Jews/Gentiles because He doesn't use any of His comon analogies for them. Also, neither case fits the gentiles. They weren't always saved, neither were they saved, lost, and saved. And why would it be the Jews? What point would He have been trying to make? They were God's chosen, lost, then came back? No need for a parable there, that's not a lesson, just history. I agree there are other places to prove this as well. I just cant see any other reasonable or useful intrepretation of this passage.
