Born RCC, left there in late teens to be a heathen, dabbled in occult too. Priest actually taught in religion class that Bible was written to compete w/mythology. I was never taught Biblical plan of salvation, just the RCC way of works.

Heard talk of rapture w/potsmoking friends-God uses anybody. I had completely rejected any thought of Jesus before so it's a miracle that I believed in Him again. This was a different Jesus than one I was taught which was the aloof one who sits on his throne ignoring us while his mother and saints intercede for us...

I was a contract piping designer who traveled the country so never went to church but listened to tapes, Copeland. I got entrenched in WOF, went to believers conventions, had miracles happen that really were, God can even use them.

But it was hard to swallow that the 5 percent wrong I was taught was wrong but it took me breaking my arm and losing use of my right hand to find out but, thank God I found out.

I joined a So. Bapt church because I liked the preaching 10 yrs ago. I stayed there after that pastor left and we've had interim, another pastor and interim but I just can't trust the pastor there now so I recently have been searching for another church, one that stays strictly w/the Word.

I'm involved in political forums along w/other Christians trying to stand up for Christian rights and God's Word, fighting against those in favor of abortion, gay rights and other atrocities. I believe prayer is important but there comes a time for action. We need to get out and vote against those who are against our God and all He stand for, it's out duty so get out and vote!!!
