Subject: "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED"!!! |
Bible Note: Salvation is not as simple as repenting and accepting the gift of Jesus Christ. Read Acts chapter 2. Those that heard Peter's sermon were "pricked in their hearts" and asked, "Men and brethren what shall we do?", vs 37. Peter replies, "Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins..." Too many people today believe they can pray a "sinners prayer" and accept Jesus as their Savior. There is not one example of this method in the bible. Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16 are just three examples of baptism being a command and it is necessary, not as a work, but as an act of obedience for salvation. |
