However when you understand your identity in Christ, you don't want to sin. Understanding your identity produces a desire for an intimate relationship and fellowship with your Heavenly Father. If you don't know who you are, you may see youself as a servant who must make restitution for sin. Servants find it difficult to enjoy an intimate love relationship with their masters. However, sons and fathers are able to enjoy each other. Do you see yourself primarily as God's child or His servant? |
