Looking at the verse and paragraph context we see the grammatical dissection of this passage confirms the fact that "Repent" is the present-tense predicate of the sentence, as well as "for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" a But, "be baptized" as the future-tense predicate-to be carried out at some future date. Your sequence is not correct in the Greek. |
