1 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | justme | 66373
Glenn: I respectfully disagree with you, the Bible should never be shoved at anyone! I find no scripture to support that. Glenn, I called you stoborn, because you are stuborn! I am quite certian that you didn't call CRI. Did you? Why? Perhaps you are to stuborn with pride. Becase you refuse to follow this up, you remain ignorant. Is what I am saying not the truth? Brother I care enough about you to spir you on to spiritual wisdom. Glenn I am not attempting to belittle you, and you seem to want to learn. If you want to learn then you will have to dig out or as scripture says flesh out, and be a student of the word so you can see a false teaching for your self. This takes lots of Bible study and word searching the scriptures. This may well be a challenge that the Lord has called you to face now. In less you are Word of Faith follower than be sure of what you agree on. What means one thing to you doctrinly can, and often does mean something else to these false teachers and followers who have because they have believed twisted scriptures fallowed these false teachers. I can not convience you, at this point I have given the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes if you so choose. Have you read anything Hank has written, and others about this Word of Faith movement. Hank has a more elequent way of saying in one sentence what takes me a page to do. I have no bad feelings tward you at all, so please see that I care enough to confront and hopefully point you in the right direction, not because I am right, but because Word of Faith movement is a false non Biblical movement. Why else would I spend this much time dialoguing withyou if I did not feel you were worth the time I have invested in this note. My time is something I account not only to the Lord for but my wife and family. If I felt you were, or prove to be unteachable then that is a new game altogether. God's Peace and Mercy to you Glenn. justme |

2 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | Pastor Glenn | 66376
justme, You are right, the bible should not be shoved at anyone, but why do you shove CRI books at me? I have not disagreed that WOF is false doctrine. I have kindly asked you to tell me about the book as to whether or not it covers the scripture of Mark 9:38-41. Instead of responding to my question you jumped in on my response that was addressed to Hank and call me "stuburn and ignorant". You said, "...Hank has a more elequent way of saying in one sentence what takes me a page to do. " Well, all the more reason to let Hank answer his own posts. Pastor Glenn |

3 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | justme | 66542
Glen: The problem is we are talking about two Hank's. Hank on the forum is the Hank I refered to having elequent writing skills. I would call his command of the English language and it's composition in writen form the best I have ever seen. There are others on the forum that have such qualities as well like Emmaus, Reformerjoe, Makarios, and these are just a few. I some times feel like a first grader that is even behind a grade. So please excuse me, when I make mistakes as I am still tring, ok? As for your questioning about Mark 9:33-41. I am not aware if Hank Hanergraaff directly deals with that scripture in the book CHRISTIANITY IN CRISIS. However the book is mainly about the false theachers and their seriously errored doctrines, that have lead ignorant, and baby Christians away, and who some of these false teachers are. That is why I refered you to CRI directly, so they can give you factual information and send you printed material. I am sure CRI has addressed this at sometime. The person who was head of CRI before his death was Walter Martin. So CRI is impeckable as far as I have seen so far, and I have been using this resourse for about ten years now. The very least you can wind up is a different opinion of a subject you are studing on. I am not a follower of CRI, I have my own thought with scriptual back up, and if CRI ever did not follow that, than of course you know what I would choose. I have had one person e-mail me and say they had no idea how filled with serious errors the Word of Faith movement was untill they read , and confirmed the facts for them self, and thanked me for directing them to find out for them self. Now as for the Hank on the forum answering his own posts, that is up to him, and you need to direct your concerns anout that to him. I would think with all that this forum is and the number of posts, it would be a real challenge to keep up with it, even in a small way. Sometimes I send a note just to let Hank know I am praying for his health, or praise his wisdom. I think it is very important to encourage him and respect his position, as I call him a man of honor, or Elder in the Lord. Would you not agree? I have found that anything we put down for someone else to read, is subject to be understood by the mood of the person or emotional stress they maybe under, as they read a note. Sometimes this happens when we write as well. Our human natures are strange indeed and I am no exception. I hope this helps and you will find a good resourse for future times.
