1 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | Pastor Glenn | 65355
EdB, I do not believe in the WOF movements "name it and claim it" prosperity sayings. I also believe that "thy will be done" is not a sin since Jesus said it. I am not at all now and niether do I plan to be involved in WOF teaching. I am saying that we should not throw out the baby with the bath water. God has made promises and covenants that He will not break and we do need to know, and understand, God's covenants with us: Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? The following scripture is not directly related to this subject, but I just like to read it: 2 Peter 3 8But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,[1] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. |

2 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | gracefull | 65577
Pastor Glenn, this is the main problem with Ed and Hank's argument. They have already thrown out the baby with the bath water and we are asking them to retrieve both inorder to extract the baby. But the heresy claims and fear promotions have many people unwilling to even search out the truth for themselves. They simply accept the fear laden warnings and sit down to be taught quietly in accordance to the 'traditions'. Thus many in the the body of Christ is weak and still on milk. The meat by many pastors and teachers if refused to the baby. The baby will eventually become content into remaining a baby or will take off on their own seeking the meat. As I told mbooker, we do not have to fear seeking truth. Faith in the Holy Spirit's promise to lead us and guide us tells me to lay down my fears, lay down my presuppositions, and be willing to let go of traditions that bind us, and listen, pray, read.. Maybe they will hear, maybe they will not... Bless you |

Gracefull: I am I to undrstand you would stand by Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copland, Kenneth Haggen, and others I have mentioned in the past? You have presisted in this justification of the Word of Faith movement now for three weeks. What is you ultimate goal? There is no baby here and no bathwater, we are talking about false teachers and false prophets! If you so choose to believe the Word of Faith Movement, I doubt there is a single person on the forum that can change your mind. What is your reasoning? Are you thinking you will change ANYONE? Why not change the subject, and move on th something worth while like how much time is too much time for prayer? Or how about how much computer time is a waste of things that we could be doing for the Lord. In other words, talk is easy, but faith in action is seldome done whild repeating over and over the same old disagreeable stuff! Lets Roll! justme |

I gathered this site was for seeking and sharing insight. Please reread my first post and then read yours...But of course, you probably won't recgonize I was offering a seeker a site to read apologetics on the subject she was asking about, you offered accusations and name calling.. who needs to move on here? |
