1 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | gracefull | 65261
I keep hearing about this book. I read several chapters last night accusing the teaching and doctrine, mainly of Kenneth Copeland, but not the first scripture to refute the scripture laden teaching. Does't anyone find this at all alarming? As I read the chapters numerous scripture came to my mind and I had my Bible and my concordance (Strong's) and not once did Hank give me a scripture to refute the one's I had confirming the teaching. Why are people so willing to accept hearsay and accusations without researching the teachings? Do we christians pass judgement on our brothers and sisters so easily because we feel our 'theology' is threatened? I reiterate, The Pharasees did the same thing to Jesus! Where is the Berean spirit. All I have received here is warnings and incinuations about how dangerous a doctrine it is. My brothers and sisters...what teaching is so dangerous and where is your SCRIPTURAL PROOF! I love God's word and believe they are the words of life for me to live by. Yours in Christ P.S. The accusation that E.W. Kenyon Mastered in the study of metaphysics, What Hank SAID cannot be proved. Hank expects his readers to accept this accusation based on the fact that Emerson University taught metaphysics. The only guilt E.W. has here is by association. E.W.'s own words teachings refute this but you would rather believ what is said about him as opposed to what he said. It is said he majored in theatre and there is no record that he even took a metaphysics class at Emerson at all. Does anyone here know where to find his 'RECORDS'? |

2 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | EdB | 65296
Graceful Anyone that claims to have Kenyon's teachings has to see the metaphysical influence, it is just to obvious to ignore. I think no one that has studied both Kenyon and metaphysics would deny that there is a direct and conclusive correlation. Understand there is nothing inherently wrong with metaphysics, it is a fascinating philosophy and offers some challenging thoughts. The problem comes in when someone tries to overlay metaphysics as an understanding of the workings of faith. Or attempts to take established metaphysical theories or conjecture and apply them to God. The fact the world did not exist until God spoke it into existence is true, however it does not prove the hypothesis of metaphysics, that things don’t exist until WE call them into existence, is true.
