1 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | justme | 65008
Gracefull: I went to the web site you reccomended. Mya I suggest you read CHRISTIANITY IN CRISIS by Hank Hanergraaff. If you read this there would be no way you would refer anyone to this site. If you want go to equip.org and you can gain some real insight into men like Kenneth Copland, Benny Hinn, Morris Cerullo and the word of faith cult. I am assuming you are ignorant of these men. I hope this awakens you to the false doctrine these men are spreading. justme |

2 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | gracefull | 65088
Justme: Idid read part of the book. I stopped as soon as I found several quotes taken out of context and theatrically dramatized to add emphasis to his point. I personally found the book insulting to the inteligence of the reader. Let me do some research and I will reccomend another book that refutes Mr. Hannegraff's accusations. My question to you is have you actually researched the statements in their proper text? Most people do not because it would be far to time consuming. They take his accusations as fact and do not objectively and fearlesly research the statements. As you know, many times scripture is treated the same way. A scripture taken out of context can be interpreted incorrectly. These teachers/preachers are not perfect any more than you or I, but if their basic doctrines are correct they should not be labeled heretics. Remember the Pharasees did the same to Jesus. This should serve as a warning to us that we too can be wrong. |

3 | Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? | Luke 23:46 | justme | 65097
Gracefull: I am willing to dialogue with you, but let us agree to show respect and kindnerss. I have never heard of anyone from the Faith Movement who read Christianity in Crisis all the way through. Yet, I have read the material suggested to me all the way, even if I found it totally wrong. I have learned what the other person believes and can dialogue with full knowledge of their thinking. I have gained much. Perhaps you might reconsider knowing more now. Benny Hinn has changed stories and theology many times. In order to be a prophet ones forthtelling must be accurate. Right? Has not Benny Hinn said many things that have NOT come to pass? Has he raised even one person from the dead? Have you witnessed, or anyone seen Jesus Christ standing on stage with Benny Hinn? Yet, Benny Hinn foretold specfic times and places that these events were to happen. They did not! Benny Hinn is a false prophet! At least by what the Bible says. Correct? Kenneth Hagen clains to have personally been with Jesus in bodly form and received the formula for faith. Supposedly, like when John wrote Revelation. The formula Jesus gave Hagen for faith boils down to; Do it, Receive it, and tell others of it. Have you read Hagens books? Do you see anything that is not in line with Scripture? Hagen is not the only Word of Faith leader to claim they have had visitations from Jesus. Sometime the revelation is even contradictory. Does that sound like truth to you? Robert Tilton was such a person who had a differening formula experience. Tilton has had legal problems that has brought shame to even a heathen ENROD bookeeper. I am fairly sure that no matter what I would add, could change what you think about the Faith Movement. Am I not correct? If you believe that the Faith Movement is in line with Orthodox Christianity then you have not done a comparison study. The Faith movement has more in common with the Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses, and Christian Scientists than mainline Christianity. The Faith Movement leaders deny the Holy Trinty, which I am sure you will say it just is not so. But do you research it is. These Faith Movement basic doctrines are not in line with Biblical doctrine. When these men make a mistake then they are held to a much higher accountability! No teacher/preacher has any reason as to so misdirect their followers. Benny Hinn said women once gave birth out of their sides! Do you believe that? This is more than nonbiblical it is pure stupidity! How do you suppose Hinn thinks things changed so drasticly? Eveloution perhaps? Do you believe such a thing? Yes I have studied the Faith Movement and I pray that this will serve as an awakening, that what you have placed you faith in, is not that of which the Bible speaks. I respect your right to believe anyway you want. I have taken the time to be kind and show you just a few errors. You will never have answer to me about your belief. Someday you will stand before the Lord, and answer to Jesus not what you believed about the Faith Movement, but are you one of His sheep. justme |
