1 | How do we open eyes to truth? | Deut 7:2 | Radioman | 24335 | ||
You MUST take Scripture in context to get at the true meaning of it. In Matthew 24:16 Jesus is speaking to ONE particular group of people, at ONE particular time, in ONE particular place. He is speaking to "them who are in Judea," not to all people in all places. He says these exact words: "Then (when v. 15 is fulfilled, not anytime a war breaks out) let them who are in Judea flee into the mountains." Are you in Judea? Am I? Is the President? Were the twin towers in Judea? Was Matthew 24:15 fulfilled on 9-11-01? |

Just show me the scriptures in the bible that Jesus Christ taught us to fight, or depend ourselves. My argument there is very simple I am not arguing anyone based on my words but the scriptures. If you can show me the verses that Jesus taught us to fight, fine. Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. "Do good them hate you," if fighting back is doing good for you, it is your own choice and not of the bible teaching. I am not arguing charis, to find Twin Towers in Judea, if you can find it yourself you know the answers to your questions. God bless, Johnny |
