Subject: How do we open eyes to truth? |
Bible Note: Dear Tim, I just gave the example of a true Christian which is in the bible, If our nation is a true Nation of God it is God will protect us like what He was doing if Israel obey him: Ex 15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. Ex 15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. Ex 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. I dont agree with you that there is no verse to forbid us to fight: I dont know if how many times did you read the whole book of the bible. Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. "Do good them hate you," if fighting back is doing good for you, it is your choice and not of the bible teaching. Or do you bless them by fighting them or killing them, because it was mentioned "blessed them that curse you". It is not my word my friend, it is from the scriptures, if we ignore them do you think scriptures made for what? a comics a decorations? Again I am talking here of a true Christian, not in title nor by mouth but truly Christian in Heart, Because to many people call themselves a Christian for the sake of MONEY: Mic 3:11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. God bless, Johnny |
