Subject: How do we open eyes to truth? |
Bible Note: People must fight and defend themselves because even though we are Christians we are still human beings. We are afraid God will say no to our prayers, we are afraid He will not listen and we are not strong enough to leave everything up to him, Holy Spirit or not. God sometimes will not listen to us, and he will let others kills us or get punished by them. Remember the two guys in the fire? They wouldn't pay attention to the government and worship other gods, and they said God would defend them and if he did not and die it would be the same to them? We're not strong enough to say that. God saved the two guys by going into the fire with them. Don't have time to look for it in the Bible. By the way we cannot change other people's point of view. Relax and ask God for understanding and wisdom in this area. |
