Bible Note: Greetings Sir Pent! I think you would agree though that the commandment must not refer to "all" killing, else God would have been commanding people to break the Law. While you may find it hard to imagine a biblical basis for why killing is still appropriate, there still isn't any verse which specifically states that things have changed from the Old to the New Testaments. Concerning Peter, I think we would both agree that Jesus was on a mission. He would not allow Peter to stop it! :-) He could have done that on His own.
