Subject: How do we open eyes to truth? |
Bible Note: Dear charis, My friend, I am concerned that you are veiwing this all from a very earthly stand point. You stated that this war is not a war of faith, it is a war of violence and hate. Please listen! This IS ultimately a war of faith! Violence and hate comes from the evil one! And while you may be right about it being easier to teach from a free country...it does not change the Truth no matter where you speak it from. Our entire purpose on this earth is to engage in a spiritual battle against evil. You cannot be so niave as to think we are here to only to work 20 years and retire in Florida! There is a divine purpose for our being here. Now that sin has entered into this world, our purpose is to combat that evil until the appointed time for sin to be cast away. We are soliders, engaged in a very REAL battle. Murder is a broad category spiritually speaking. If we hate or despise, we are guilty of a murderous heart...the same as if we had plowed a 747 into a building. That is why we are called to rise above and love even our enemies. And NO, it is not an easy call, but we have the power to do so through Jesus. Satan has only a certain amount of time, and he knows that. He is hard at work to decieve as many as he possibly can. He will do this through false religions, through war, through family, through miss laid loyalties...through any avenue he can. His whole tactic is trickery and deceit. To get God's people to strike out in anger and in battle is another one of his many tricks and to watch them justify their actions...well, I am sure he is beside himself with pleasure. Remember, he is our accuser...a big tattle tale! Anything we do against God, he is the first to point it out to our Father, with pleasure! Including, I believe...our desire to see our enemies suffer!- Which God clearly warned against. "Vengence is mine", saith the Lord. The evils that are commited against His people, will be avenged in the proper time by God Himself! It is not our place to judge the hearts of men. That is for God himself. Do we defend ourselves and take action for our protection? I see nothing wrong with bringing these men into confinement. We should arrest them and put them in a cage for the rest of their lives! But to openly plan and publicly carry out orders to KILL them...not really considering who else gets killed in the process...in my book is wrong and against the teachings of the bible. Once we do what we can do, imprisoning these men...the rest is up to God. He will be the final judge and issue justice for their sins...just like He will do with the rest of us. Deception is one of the main ways satan will decieve many in these end times. Jesus warned of it regularly. It comes in many forms. A "just cause", if not looked upon from a biblical stand point, is an ideal means of deception! "What more gives us the right to strike out and kill, than for the sake of justice"...I can almost see his clever grin as he whispers this to many. coop1 |
