Bible Question:
Thank you for your confirmation Johnny...it feels good to be confirmed. I guess as human beings we need that...but we also need spiritual confirmation, especially in such trying times. My next question than is: How do we respond, as Christians, to our current war time situation? The entire country is backing our governments actions. While we must adhere to the laws of our land, and support them through prayer for God's guidance and intervention...how do we discourage this spirit of vengeful power among our family, friends and countrymen; without appearing like just another radical religious group? It as though in these times, the very Truth spoken aloud...feeds the fire, God forbid. It very easily becomes twisted and turned by an unbeliever. Even among the believers, some seem to be overcome with this spirit, and argue some of the same, earthly points and lean toward being "for" this war. "Forgive me Lord if this question comes from lack of faith." |
Bible Answer: Coop1 Your Question:"My next question than is: How do we respond, as Christians, to our current war time situation?" Let the scriptures answers your questions. Mt 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Mt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Mt 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Mt 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Mt 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Mt 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mt 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. The wars that happening to us right now is part of Jesus Christ warning to us. He said those things will happened as a sign of His second coming. How we react with those wars? Be preapared day and night As Jesus Said He is coming like a "thief at night". Continue... This wars according to the bible will get worse then shall be great tribulation: Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. But dont worry my friend, because of you and me, and all believers of Jesus Christ, those days Should be shortend:(tribulation) Mt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. You also mentioned that many believers turn around" it part of the prophecy that in the latter times too many false prophet will gone into this world: they can get many believers also. So be prepared: 1Jo 4:1 ΒΆ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I know we cannot stop things included in prophecy: But Jesus clearly said to us: Love one another. The very important here is that we are provoking the wars or started any kind of trouble to anyone. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ to us. He didnt mention that in our capacity as a man we even at least prevent any of those wars but we are not the one started or participated: 1Co 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. "If we really following Christ, then must ye needs go out of the world" What we can do really is to pray, and continue teaching, preaching. Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. I am sorry if my answer to you is too long, I am just make sure that I am answering you based in the scriptures and not with my own conclusions. I hope it would helps. Johnny |
