1 | How do we preach the Gospel? | 1 John 2:2 | Morant61 | 101205
Greetings John! I would have to agree with Hank on this one my friend! You quoted John 3:18 as saying that the unbelief was based upon their condemnation, but John 3:18 actually says: "...; those who do not believe have already been condemned, BECAUSE they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (My translation) So, the reason for the condemnation was their unbelief, but the other way around. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | How do we preach the Gospel? | 1 John 2:2 | John Reformed | 101227
Greetings back at ya Tim! Ps 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be condemned Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Titus 3:10,11 Reject a factious man after a first and second warning, knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned. It seems that there are at least 3 other ways of being condemned apart from the rejection of the gospel. But I grow weary with much scribbling and must lay my fevered brow on yon soft pillow. Good Night, Jon |

3 | How do we preach the Gospel? | 1 John 2:2 | Morant61 | 101261
Greetings John! Ray called to my attention that my translation was in error! It should have read, 'he who', not 'those who'. Your quotes would make an interesting study. Do they all refer to the same 'kind' of condemnation? But, alas, I to must go to sleep! ;-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
