NASB | 1 John 2:2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 John 2:2 And He [that same Jesus] is the propitiation for our sins [the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature--our worldliness, our lifestyle]; and not for ours alone, but also for [the sins of all believers throughout] the whole world. |
Subject: How do we preach the Gospel? |
Bible Note: Hi Georjoy, Ive looked at this thread and want to add my thoughts, As a preacher and evangelist, I learned a long time ago that preachers dont preach, the Holy Ghost uses ministers as a mouth piece to deliver the message. My self, after prayer, the spirit gives me what to read from the Bible and then after I read the verses to the congregation, I wait on the Spirit to take over. The Apostile Paul says it best, I know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Thats how we preach. No man preaches unless hes called. And I agree with you there are not enought preachers, preaching salvation,we hafe to go after the lost. My thoughts. DL5 |
