Dear George, Thank you for your generous comment, but no, I'm a printing salesman with a G.E.D. that I earned while in the Navy. However, I've always loved to read and perhaps something of the authors I've read has rubbed off on me. I have particular fondness for the classics. Thanks, John |

Navy!!! I started out in VA 174 in Jax, Fl, went to Va66 at Cecil Field, made 3 Med cruses and 1 NATO on the USS Independance, then went to Pinecastle Electronic Warfare range in Deland, Fl, then up to Norfolk for more sea duty on the USS Dewight D Eisenhower, which was the newest aircraft carrier at the time, made a couple cruses on that one and finally got some brains in my head and got out after 8 years and started majoring in civilian life. Shortly b4 I got out out, I managed to get my GED. Didn't ever really need it till I decided to further my education. That was 25 yrs ago. If only I'd have known then what I know now! Or at the very least, "if I'd have only paid a little more attention to those who, back then were in the position I'm in now." George |
