1 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | coop1 | 23663 | ||
Thank you for your confirmation Johnny...it feels good to be confirmed. I guess as human beings we need that...but we also need spiritual confirmation, especially in such trying times. My next question than is: How do we respond, as Christians, to our current war time situation? The entire country is backing our governments actions. While we must adhere to the laws of our land, and support them through prayer for God's guidance and intervention...how do we discourage this spirit of vengeful power among our family, friends and countrymen; without appearing like just another radical religious group? It as though in these times, the very Truth spoken aloud...feeds the fire, God forbid. It very easily becomes twisted and turned by an unbeliever. Even among the believers, some seem to be overcome with this spirit, and argue some of the same, earthly points and lean toward being "for" this war. "Forgive me Lord if this question comes from lack of faith." |

Coop1 I miss out some word in my first answer, I can be misquoted here. I miss out the word "not" I am sorry. I know we cannot stop things included in prophecy: But Jesus clearly said to us: Love one another. The very important here is that we are "not" provoking the wars or started any kind of trouble to anyone. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ to us. He didnt mention that in our capacity as a man we even at least prevent any of those wars but we are not the one started or participated: God bless, Johnny |
