Bible Note: John I flabbergasted, A hyper-Calvinist is someone who either: Denies that the gospel call applies to all who hear, OR Denies that faith is the duty of every sinner, OR Denies that the gospel makes any "offer" of Christ, salvation, or mercy to the non-elect (or denies that the offer of divine mercy is free and universal), OR Denies that there is such a thing as "common grace," OR Denies that God has any sort of love for the non-elect.(Phil Johnson) If, at any time, I have been guilty of any of the above, show me my fault and I will, by God's grace, correct it and apologize myself. John unless your talking “Calvinese” where all doesn't mean all. You have repeatedly said unless your elected you are without hope God’s mercy and grace is simply not offered to you. You have repeatedly used the passage where God said He hated Essau as justification for His decision not save the non elect. You have repeatedly said that unless your elect you can not hear the call of salvation. You have repeatedly said a sinner can not have faith since he doesn't know what to have faith in. You have repeatedly said God’s grace is only offered to God’s elect. I think you have clearly violated every one of the points on your list so I think that does in fact make you a Hyper Calvinist. I know that is what I have classified you as. I have shown many of our threads to my Calvinist friends and they have simply dismissed you as a hyper Calvinist. Now your saying your not????? Well shut my mouth!!!! EdB |
