Bible Note: JibbyJee: You write to me, "I'm sorry to hear that you reject the Gospel that is the basis for the faith which I call my own." ..... Well now, young man, upon what exactly do you base this damning assessment of my faith? I have written more than 3,000 posts on this forum. Please produce as your evidence one of them -- just one -- in which I have even remotely hinted that I reject the gosepl of the Lord Jesus Christ. Again I say, show this forum one post under my name that shows that I reject the gospel. And while you're at it, define for this forum and me exactly what you mean when you say 'gospel.' Young man, from the content and tone of your post, you assume far too much about me, my background, and my experience in the Christian faith; and you obviously base your judgment of me upon your own conclusions that you have drawn based upon groundless assumptions for which you cannot produce an iota of proof of any kind. Look back at your post to which I responded. What was the central issue? It was to that and that alone that I responded in disagreement with what I consider your faulty interpretation. Finally, let me give you a little advice which you can accept or reject as you please. Don't continue to make mean, false, and irresponsible statements about the faith of the users of this forum such as you made to me concerning my faith unless you are prepared to face the consequences. When you attack the core faith of a Christian, you are doing a very serious thing and you'd better be prepared to back up your remarks with incontrovertible factual evidence. --Hank |
