1 | why would God withhold the gift of faith | John 3:16 | Morant61 | 89780 | ||
Greetings John! Now we're backing up again! ;-) You wrote: "John 6:45 "It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me. They all shall be taught by God. "All" who? All whom the Father draws." Where exactly does John 6:45 says 'all wom the Father draws will be taught by God'? Where exactly is 'spiritually dead' defined as being unable to respond? Where is my evidence? John 12:32, Rom. 11:32, Rom. 16:26, 2 Cor. 5:18-20, 1 Tim. 4:10 - for starters. Let me ask you, according to 2 Cor. 3:12-4:4, who 'veiled' people's hearts and blinded their minds? According to these same verses, when is the veil removed? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Brother Tim, You asked the question: Where exactly is 'spiritually dead' defined as being unable to respond? Rom 8:7-8 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. and 1 Corinthians 2:14- But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. So can you accept the things of God (believe or have faith in spiritual things of God) while still being of this world? I don't think so Tim! :D Sola Scriptura Mike |
