1 | Rom 3:11 and Hebrews 11:6 ???? | John 3:16 | Parable | 89259
Regarding your point with Rom 3:11 THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; I note Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM. (emphasis mine) What is scripture trying to teach with these two seemingly contradictory verses? Thanks, Parable |

2 | Rom 3:11 and Hebrews 11:6 ???? | John 3:16 | TheLord'sChurch | 89263
Parable, If you only read 3:11 and 11:6, then it really would seem contradicting. Rom 3:11 is talking about the Jews thinking they were better than the Gentiles, but paul said we are all under sin. If you read the whole chapter it talks about every man increasing in wickedness, no one seemed to be searching for God, just like it is today.....everyone tries to prove the bible wrong but can't. But now that Christ has come, he is the light of men John 1:4, He shows us the way to righteousness matthew 10:38. How we are suppossed to live by faith......I hope I answered your question and if you have anymore you can email me......Remember, the bible is it's best commentary. shwnd300@hotmail.com Thanks |
