AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |

Bible Note: There were three tithes 1) The general tithe paid to the Levites (Num 18:21), who even tithed to the preists (vs 26). 2) The second tithe brought yearly to the tabernacle and eaten before the Lord (Deu. 12:6,7,17-19; 14:22-27) 3) The third tithe, every third year to promote hospitality and charity (Deu. 14:28,29; 26:12-15). |
